After making official visits to Memphis, Arkansas and UNLV, 6′-2″ point guard Jaylen Fisher was ready to make a commitment. The top 50 prospect in the 2016 class announced for UNLV on Wednesday, in an ceremony at his school, Bolton (TN).
Fisher is an aggressive point guard, who is a strong on the ball defender. Fisher starred for several years on the Under Armour circuit, playing for Team Thad. In Fisher, UNLV has a prospect who can contribute immediately as a low-risk prospect who impacts the defensive end of the floor and can distribute to teammates. Fisher is serviceable offensively, making him a true two-way point guard.
Other programs Fisher considered included LSU, Indiana and Baylor.
