Top 100 Midwest forward Justin Smith considers seven

As an underclassmen at Stevenson (IL), 6′-7″ forward Justin Smith turned heads of fans present to see the Jalen Brunson show. With Brunson gone to Villanova, and a member of a National Championship team, Smith had the ability to showcase his skills as a prospect, and is solidly ranked in the top 100 nationally as a result of his stellar play.

Smith narrowed his list to seven schools on Monday, keeping Big Ten programs Indiana, Michigan, Illinois and Wisconsin on his list, along with Stanford, Villanova and Xavier.

Superbly athletic, Smith is a high-flyer who is aptly suited to play small forward at the next level. He ran with the Mac Irvin Fire in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League and held his own against some of the nation’s top prospects.

There’s little doubt with time Smith can be an impact player in the right college situation.
