Superb shooting junior Austin Grandstaff picks Ohio State

The Ohio State Buckeyes are in great shape for their 2015 recruiting class, as they landed a third top-75 recruit in the class on Sunday, 6′-4″ shooting guard Austin Grandstaff of Rockwall (TX). Grandstaff was previously committed to Oklahoma State, and was the top scorer in the Dallas metro area as a junior.

Grandstaff torched the nets during his junior season, averaging 27.1 points, 6.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game. He is currently ranked the No. 35 prospect in the junior class nationally, by Hoopniks.com.

In-state point guard A.J. Harris and forward Mickey Mitchell of Plano West (TX) both previously announced their intentions to play college basketball at Ohio State. Grandstaff joined their ranks while on a weekend visit to Columbus.
