There aren’t many absolutes in the world of college basketball recruiting, but the idea that 6′-2″ point guard Collin Sexton of Pebblebrook (GA) was the fastest rising player in the spring and summer does seem universally accepted. In fact, Sexton went from being a top 100 prospect in the 2017 class to now knocking at the door of most top-10 lists.
After being the leading scorer for the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League and capturing a Gold medal for the USA Basketball U17 team, Sexton earned more and more scholarship offers on a regular basis. On Thursday, though, Sexton’s recruitment became more focused as he trimmed his list down to ten schools, as reported by Evan Daniels of Scout.com.
Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia Tech, Iowa State, Kansas, North Carolina, NC State, Villanova and Oklahoma State made the cut to land one of the pre-eminent scorers from the backcourt in the nation.
