Alvin (TX) wing forward Savion Flagg had a terrific spring and summer, and is knocking at the door for consensus top-50 status in the 2017 class nationally. With a host of both regional and national attention from various schools, Flagg trimmed his list to eight programs on Thursday.

Flagg posted via Twitter that he is considering in-state programs Texas and Texas A&M, along with Northwestern, Oregon, Miami, Florida, NC State and LSU.

One of the top players in the Lone Star state, Flagg is a touted scoring wing who can fill it up in a hurry. His play for the Houston Defenders on the Under Armour circuit attracted plenty of suitors as he achieved four star status.
