Pure point guard Matt Coleman lists ten

6′-2″ point guard Matt Coleman of Oak Hill Academy (VA) was the starting point guard for the USA Basketball U18 Gold medal winning squad, and certainly one of the winning-est point guards at the high school level in the 2017 class.

While some think Coleman is unlikely to land anywhere other than Texas, Coleman released a list of his top ten schools on Monday that does include other schools. The Longhorns made the cut, along with Xavier, NC State, Syracuse, Stanford, Louisville, Seton Hall, Washington, Arizona and Virginia.

Coleman demonstrated his versatility playing for USA Basketball, which was coached by Texas head man Shaka Smart, among others, and averaged 8 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists in International play.

One of the best lead guards in the country, Coleman will be a key addition wherever he lands.
