New Jersey big man Deng Gak has a top five of bluebloods

Top-30 senior prospect Deng Gak, a 6′-10″ post player from Blair Academy (NJ), named his top five on Monday.

Gak, a fast-rising prospect and sought-after big man, announced some of college basketball’s premier programs made the cut for his list. Duke, Kansas, Indiana, Florida and Miami are the finalists for Gak.

After a good spring and summer on one of the nation’s top AAU teams, the PSA Cardinals, Gak has the attention of some of the most prominent head coaches in college basketball, with just one high school basketball season under his belt.

Gak also has experience playing on Australia’s U19 national team, which will no doubt pay dividends as he hits college next year.
