Late addition Arinze Chidom signs with Washington State

Washington State completed their 2016 recruiting class on Thursday, inking 6′-9″ forward Arinze Chidom of Sunrise Christian (KS).

Chidom is a late bloomer who played a season at Sunrise Christian after previously playing at Bishop O’Dowd (CA). Reportedly around 200 pounds, Chidom could be a candidate to redshirt for the future with two senior posts already on the roster.

Of Chidom, head coach Ernie Kent remarked,”Arinze completes an excellent recruiting class for this season. I like his length, athleticism, and most importantly, his skill set. He has a very bright future ahead of him and I’m excited to welcome him to the Cougar family.”

Chidom’s sister plays women’s basketball at Duke. He joins five other newcomers to Pullman, as Kent continues to attempt his rebuild of the program. The rest of the team did get to work on developing during a recent overseas trip to Italy.
