Hoopniks Terrific 30, presented by Krossover (1-28-13)

To date, the vast majority of the current members of the Hoopniks Terrific 30, presented by Krossover, are quite battle tested.

With that said, there’s little doubt that the resume’s of No. 2 St. Benedict’s Prep (NJ) and No. 5 St. Anthony (NJ) currently do not stack up with their peers. That will change on Friday, as the two Jersey’s squads clash with each other at the Newark National Invitational. The game is extremely intriguing as St. Benedict’s has top to bottom among the most talented rosters in the country, while St. Anthony will roll into the game with an 81 game winning streak.

On the most extreme opposite site of the country, No. 15 Mater Dei (CA) hosts the Nike Extravaganza. The won’t be the top attraction, though as No. 10 Long Beach Poly (CA) takes on No. 21 St. John’s Bosco (CA) on Friday. No. 23 Bishop Gorman (NV) will also be present for the event.

Another event to watch this weekend is a new event, the Red State Blue State Series, which is headlined by No. 9 Whitney Young (IL).
