A week ago, 6′-8″ power forward RaiQuan Gray of Dillard (FL) narrowed his list to six college basketball programs. A trip to see Florida State made up Gray’s mind, as he announced his verbal to join the ‘Noles for the 2017-2018 season on Monday.

Gray also considered Mississippi, Maryland, Memphis, Virginia Tech, and Baylor

Florida State now has two players pledged in the 2017 class, as Gray joins Kansas guard Bryan Trimble as pledges to date.

Gray won a state championship at Dillard (FL) and was highly successful in the Under Armour Association for the Florida Vipers. Due to his athleticism and versatility, he projects as a quality newcomer who fits the future frontcourt at Florida State and can provide options for head coach Leonard Hamilton and his staff.
