ESPN has announced the schedule of sixteen high school boys basketball games that will be televised this year on their family of networks. With coverage from the Les Schwab Invitational in Oregon, the Cancer Research Classic in West Virginia and the Spalding Hoophall Classic, among other events and games, ESPN will present an excellent cross section of talented high school basketball teams this year, from across the country.
According to the most recent Hoopniks Terrific 30 presented by Krossover, the top-11 teams currently ranked in our poll will have a game televised this season. In addition, several prep schools with post-graduate players will also have games shown on ESPN or their affiliates. Those teams are not eligible to be ranked in the Terrific 30.
The schedule is subject to change, but appears to be a great opportunity for fans to catch not only the top teams in the country this year, but also some future college stars.
