Eleven high-major college basketball programs are left in the race to land North Central (IN) power forward Kris Wilkes.
Wilkes has official visits set for North Carolina and UCLA according to multiple reports, and is also considering Butler, Indiana, Arizona, Illinois, Ohio State, Michigan, UConn, Washington, and Xavier.
Coming on the heels of a successful spring and summer on the Under Armour circuit, Wilkes has elevated his game and is considered by some as a contender for a top 10 national ranking in the class of 2017.
Wilkes’ Under Armour Association stats are eye-popping, as he scored 18.3 points per game (53% field goal percentage) and corralled 6.5 rebounds each game. A fellow standout on Wilkes’ team, Paul Scruggs, recently set a top five college programs.
