Class of 2019 – Early Watch-List

The 2015-2016 high school basketball season is in full swing, and some major games have already been played on significant national stages. With that in mind, it seemed like with the New Year here, it is time to mention some players who have already made their names from a national perspective.

Our list of 10 players to know from the freshman class unsurprisingly features players with significant size, like 7′-0″ center Balsa Koprivica (shown in the above video) and his classmates 6′-10″ Charles Bassey and 7′-3″ Chol Marial.

A 6′-6″ guard, however, Rowan “R.J.” Barrett is arguably at the head of the class at this point. A Canadian who is currently starring at Montverde Academy, Barrett’s scoring ability, athleticism and clutch play have already been showcased in nationally televised events against top ranked foes.

Still, it’s much to early to rank these prospects and as a result we present 10 prospects in alphabetical order only. There’s no doubt many other players will break out this season and the next three, but some talent has unquestionably served notice so far, and is recognized here as a result.
