Talented roster shows out in high-scoring Elite 24 game

A contingent of some of the country’s most talented high school basketball prospects participated in the 2016 Under Armour Elite 24 game, which was shown on ESPNU on Saturday. The “Drive” team, led by Trevon Duval‘s 25 points and 9 assists, edged the “Clutch” team, which featured guard Isaiah Washington (a late addition to the game) and his 36 points. A loaded USA team steam-rolled the World squad in the 2016 Nike Hoop Summit, held in Portland, Oregon, winning 101-67. USA built a lead early in the first quarter and never looked back, as the World team’s guard play was insufficient to handle USA’s backcourt talent.
