Cal State Northridge Adds 2012 PF Brandon Perry

6′-6″, 260 pound 2012 power forward prospect Brandon Perry will play his college hoops in the Big West.  Perry, who plays at LA area powerhouse Taft (CA), made a verbal commitment to Cal State Northridge, per the Los Angeles Daily News.  Coach Derrick Taylor at Taft told the Daily News regarding Perry that he’s,”going to be our next really big star”, which is high praise considering the talent that Taft has had in recent history.  Perry is averaging 4 points and 3 rebounds per game so far this season, according to MaxPreps.

For those fans that wish college basketball was a year-round sport, the College Basketball Newcomers Guide paperback and Kindle book previews the incoming recruits for every team nationally. There’s no need to wait until Fall to learn about the new names in college basketball that will be starring on the hardwood.
