Touted 6′-7″ power forward P.J. Washington is among the top power forward prospects in the country. A native of Texas who plays at Findlay Prep (NV), Washington named a final eight college basketball programs in his recruitment on Wednesday.

Many believe Kentucky is the leader to land Washington, but Texas, North Carolina, Arizona, UCLA, NC State, Kansas, and UNLV also made his list.

Already substantially sized at 230 pounds, Washington is physically ready to compete at the next level. His play in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League during the spring and summer was nothing short of stellar for Memphis-based Team Penny. Washington averaged a double-double, scoring almost 17 points per game, while pulling down 10 rebounds.

Washington has the upside of a top 10 player in the class, and should be an immediate contributor, wherever he lands.
