The second adidas Nations training camp tipped off this weekend in Miami, Florida, as the adidas stable of 2014, 2015, and 2016 prospects were present. Previously, numerous 2015 and 2016 prospects participated in the adidas Nations training camp in Chicago, the first weekend in April.

The adidas Nations events are not open to media coverage, with the exception of the adidas Nations Global event, with is set for August 1 – 5, this year in Los Angeles, California. There will be an additional training camp in Las Vegas, June 15 – 16.

This weekend’s camp in Miami is notable for the addition of several of the hottest names on the grassroots basketball circuit from the spring. Trinity (TX) big man Myles Turner, Regis (CO) point guard Josh Perkins, and Arlington Country Day (FL) guard Brandone Francis are perhaps the fastest rising incoming seniors in the nation, and will be attending their first major camp.

The majority of the attending prospects are uncommitted, with the exception of early Louisville Cardinals pledge Shaqquan Aaron and Georgetown Hoyas commit Isaac Copeland.

Several prospects that typically participate on Nike or Under Armour sponsored squads are also in attendance, making for what should be a quality weekend of competition.

The only place you’ll find updates from adidas Nations this weekend will be on the official site.
