Height: 6’-7”

Weight: 200

Position: SF

High School (State): Righetti (CA)

Club Team (Affiliation): Compton Magic (adidas)

Commitment: Stanford Cardinal

Breakdown: On July 21, Walker came off the board and became the second member of Stanford’s 2015 recruiting class.

In early May, Walker narrowed his list to Arizona State, California, Colorado, Florida, Harvard, San Diego State, Stanford and UCLA. Many, including Hoopniks.com, considered Cal as the team to beat to land Walker, but their Bay Area rivals won out  in the end.

Walker should provide versatile frontcourt play, with the size to be a prototypical “3″ in the future. Walker has a good skill level for his size and position. He can work off the bounce, and has some mid-range abilities.

Walker played on the adidas Uprising circuit on the Compton Magic Elite squad. In the 16 game tournament series, Walker averaged 12.6 points per game, as well as 6.3 rebounds. He is a bit of a 3-point threat as a 33 percent shooter, and he did hit 48 percent from the field.
