2015 Post-Summer Player Rankings Countdown: 54 – KeVaughn Allen

Commitment: Florida Gators

Breakdown: The Gators are off to the races in the 2015 recruiting cycle, and Allen of North Little Rock was the second commit in the class.

Allen had a tremendous junior season, as he was named the Gatorade Player of the Year in Arkansas. He averaged 21.3 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.7 steals and 4.2 assists per game, and his squad captured a 7A State Championship.

Capable of playing both guard positions,  Allen can handle and score effectively. He is still long and thin at 176 pounds, but has time to fill out and find a more definite role. He also excelled in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League for one of the top squads, Team Penny. Allen put up 17.2 points per game (49% from the floor, 37% from the 3-point line).

Florida beat out their SEC foe Arkansas, Memphis and many other programs that sought Allen services at the college level.
